Race Driver: GRID

Read Time:1 Minute, 38 Second

Race Driver: GRID is a classic racing game, where you will act as a novice pilot. Your main task is to build a career, buy new models with the won money and win, win, win. Career mode is simple enough: you are immediately introduced that the main task is to win, and the money, repairs, tuning and everything else is the problem of mechanics and the manager.

  • Year of release: 2008.
  • Processor: 2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo or AMD Athlon X2 3800.
  • RAM: 2GB.
  • Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 or AMD Radeon X1950 with 512 MB of memory and DirectX 10 support.
  • Free hard disk space: 13 GB.

In Race Driver: GRID you need to try to come to the finish line in the first three, trying to take first place and get a good fee. With the money received will be able to buy new models of cars, which can participate in a steeper and more advanced races. And if you do not have enough money to buy a new car, you will be offered to buy a used car – it’s a little cheaper, but it may be a little “killed”, that is battered and with malfunctions.

The developers (the British company Codemasters) have tried and implemented several chips, due to which Race Driver: GRID entered our rating. First, there are sponsors, who will certainly appear and place their logos on the car, if you win. And secondly, you’ll be able to organize a team, take your teammates into it and let them out in the race instead of you. Who knows, maybe they can do better.

We recommend Race Driver: GRID for those who are looking for races for weak PC’s. The game has minimal requirements, not bad graphics and interesting gameplay components – an opportunity to build a career, get not only the moral, but also the material support of sponsors, choose the symbols and hire a team to participate in competitions.
